ARTEX AND ARTEX COVERING

We can apply Artex to ceilings & walls to produce a durable, long lasting & textured finish. On badly cracked or uneven ceilings Artex can be used to mask defects & unevenness, giving an old ceiling an almost new appearance. We can also skim over Artex to leave you with a smooth finish.

COVING

Coving provides an elegant look to most rooms & hides uneven joins between ceilings & walls. We can recommend & fit a selection of plaster coving.

DRY LINING

Dry lining is a process of securing plasterboards over stud walls, brickwork and ceilings using screws on timber or adhesive on masonry (Dot & Dab). Once dry lined, the area can be taped and jointed using special paper tape or it can be skim coated.

Skimming is what most people think of when they talk about plastering. We offer a 2 coat skimming/re-skimming plastering service to transform your rooms with a professional smooth glass like finish which is ready for painting or papering. This final coat or top coat of plaster is probably the most important as it is the final coat that will be seen, this coat of plaster is often referred to as a skim.
